2018 MY READING IN REVIEW

2018 MY READING IN REVIEW

At the beginning of this year I set myself some reading goals for this year (you can check it out on this blog!) and I thought it would be nice to see how I actually did because aaahhh plans were not executed.

  1. Finish my Goodreads challenge – DONE

I smashed it!! I managed to read 57 books out of a goal of 50 so go wooooo

Here’s my goodreads ‘year in books’ which is a feature I really appreciate

  1. Read different books – DONE

2018 was definitely a year in which I strayed from YA books and started reading books solely on the basis that it really interested me, instead of books that had a lot of hype around them which led me to lots of new discoveries. I think that this was a consequence of visiting a lot of second hand book sales and treasure hunting. Hmmm.

Out of the books that I said that I would like to read in the ‘reading goals’ post I only ended up reading Pride and Prejudice, but hey, at least that’s one.

  1. Read more efficiently – idk ?

Hard to tell really – I read a lot of short books so I guess I felt like I was being efficient??

  1. Do something about some reading – DONE

I am EXTREMELY active on goodreads, I feel like it’s procrastination without feeling like you’re procrastinating?? I would have liked to post more on here though,, sorry guys

  1. Make more zines – NOPE

BAHAAHHAHA i have not made a single one ahhh we will get there some day in the very distant future eeeee

timeee forrrrrrrrr

  • 1984 by George Orwell
  • The Dazzling Heights by Katharine McGee
